Feeding & Storage

Transitioning your pup

When introducing your pet to any new food, a slow transition over 10 days is recommended - it is the same case when you are switching to our food too.

We recommend mixing the new food in with what you are currently feeding and slowly building up until the new food is the sole food that you’re feeding.

Even if your dog is not eating their current diet, it is important to start off small with new food and introduce it slowly, as sudden changes to diet can cause digestive issues.

So how do we do this? The pie chart illustrates what a gradual transition is.

Storage Guidelines

  • As all of our meals are fresh and preservative-free, the properties of the contents will alter if not properly taken care of.

  • Our food are packed in trays and pouches that are BPA-free, Food and Freezer Grade materials.

  • Meals are fully cooked -- no further cooking is required.

  • To store, keep frozen (-18°C). DO NOT thaw food at room temperature for more than 1H to prevent contamination. Once thawed, DO NOT re-freeze.
  • Our food are immediately made to freeze and vacuum-packed after cooking to retain its nutrients.

  • Our meals in trays & pouches can be stored 3 months in the freezer and 48H in the chiller. The frozen food can continue to last up to 6 months if stored properly but it may not be at the optimal freshness. Expiration dates will be indicated on the packs.

  • When your delivery arrives, we would recommend to put 2 days worth of food into the chiller. Please store them in the freezer/chiller immediately. Each time you use a pack up, replace it with a frozen one. If the food arrives in a chilled form and not fully frozen, don’t worry, as it is still safe to use and can be put into the freezer.

Tray Packaging

  • Please DO NOT microwave or put them in the oven.

  • All trays will come with a lid and in 3X100g for easy storage.

  • The trays are detachable. To thaw, detach the trays according to the appropriate amount and place them in the chiller overnight (at least 24h). Serve them cold or heat them up the next day! If you forget to thaw, the frozen food in the 100g trays will still come out easily. Simply heat them up in a separate bowl.

Pouch Packaging

  • Please DO NOT microwave or put them in the oven.

  • To thaw, place them in the chiller overnight (at least 24h). Serve them cold or heat them up the next day! If you forget to thaw, submerge the pouch in warm water.
